Women's Study - "Proven"

Too many of us walk through life feeling as if we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. And thankfully, we don’t have to be. In this 8-session study called “Proven,” Jennie Allen walks through key passages in the Book of John to demonstrate how only Jesus is enough. We don't have to prove anything because Jesus has already proven everything.

We’ll meet on Tuesday mornings, beginning September 18, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Amarillo West Campus in room 405.

On the first week (September 18), come at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and to catch up with friends until group begins at 9:30. (Childcare will be available beginning at 9:15.)

Register below and be sure to pick up a copy of "Proven" by Jennie Allen at the retailer of your choice.

A Time To Share | Delivery

A Time to Share is a ministry of Hillside that exists to bless the elderly and homebound in the Texas Panhandle. Throughout the fall, volunteers work to prepare and wrap presents, and then on December 1 everyone is invited to come and help deliver the presents. Each group will be given the addresses of several homes to take deliveries to. This is a great way to serve together as a family or with a small group. Each group or family must have their own car. Register to let us know you are coming. This will ensure we have an accurate list of how many cars will be doing deliveries. We will meet at the A Time to Share Building at 8:30 a.m. on December 1. Plan to spend a few hours completing your deliveries. Timing will vary from car to car.

Date: Saturday, December 1, 2018
Time: 8:30 a.m.
Location: 2500 SW 8th, Amarillo, TX (This is the A Time to Share Building)

Register your car to help make deliveries HERE.

Sharing Tree - Volunteer Opportunity

Will you share in the joy of giving this Christmas? We are hoping to collect over 3,000 presents this Christmas to bless local families. Visit the lobby of your campus to get an ornament from one of the Sharing Trees. The ornament will tell you what kind of present to purchase. Then, return your unwrapped gift by Sunday, December 2.

The presents will be distributed at the Sharing Tree Celebration on December 8 at the Amarillo North Grand Campus. Go HERE to find out more about the celebration event and how you can sign-up to share your time! We have lots of fun ways to help out on that day!
